Don and Jackie originally hailed from Chicago, IL and have been Goodyear, AZ residents since 2006. After retiring from their jobs in 2005, they both sought out a peaceful retirement and what better place than in Arizona.

Before retiring Don worked in Sales/Management for 32 years at “Pfizer”. While Jackie had a career as an Administration Assistant for “Coldwell Banker”. After their many years of hard work and dedication, Don and Jackie sure do enjoy their new found free-time. Filling their days with time reading, traveling across the U.S., Europe, collecting new recipes, cooking, volunteering with the neighborhood “help” program, softball, and playing golf with friends.

Before all this fun that comes with retirement, Don and Jackie spent a lot of their time volunteering and helping in their community. Whether this was being a Cub Scout Den Leader, little league baseball managers to the present “Kare Bare Foundation.” They are also involved in the Baptism & Bereavement programs at their church. They have both always had hearts for the community and people helping people.

Don and Jackie have accomplished some pretty incredible things in their life time. But if ever asked they will tell you being able to retire before 60 was one of their greatest goals and accomplishments. Also, being married to one another for over 45 years and raising two amazing sons together. It sure has been a journey they have gladly taken together. With more years to come they still have goals to accomplish of going on another Austrian/Danube river cruise and to see their youngest son get married one day. Don and Jackie have a wonderful life and will keep on living it to their favorite songs by the Blues Brothers & The Bee Gees.
